# Looking for work with VirtuHire?

You are in the right place, but the wrong door. Here is how hiring actually works and where to look.

Updated September 20, 2026

## Read this first

**This site is for US companies who want to hire staff. It is not where applications are received.** Sending a CV through a form here, or booking a call on this site, will not put you in front of the hiring team. Those calls are for employers, and a booking made by a candidate simply gets cancelled.

## How hiring actually works

VirtuHire recruits in South Africa. The recruiting team sources against a specific brief from a specific client: a role, a set of hours, a required background. Roles are opened as clients need them, which means there is rarely a standing list of vacancies.

When a role does open, the recruiting team advertises it directly and runs the process end to end: screening, interviews, a one-way video introduction, then an introduction to the client.

## Where to look

**Open roles are advertised directly by the recruiting team.** Watch the channels where VirtuHire posts its vacancies rather than applying through this site. Speculative CVs sent here are not routed to recruiters and will not be kept on file.

## What the work looks like

Placements are full-time remote roles with US businesses, working US hours, US Eastern through Pacific. Common roles include executive and administrative assistants, bookkeepers and accounts staff, customer support, scheduling and front desk, operations, and sales development.

These are employed positions with contracts, payroll and onboarding handled properly, not freelance gigs.
