Who we are

VirtuHire US is the US business development arm of VirtuHire, a Cape Town-based staffing firm operated by Moonsgate Capital (Pty) Ltd. We help US companies hire pre-vetted South African remote professionals for executive assistant, sales, customer support, operations, finance, design, project management, and engineering roles, typically at 60 to 85 percent below US salary equivalents.

The US side is operated by Ritz Consulting Group, a sole proprietorship registered in Los Angeles, California. Ritz Consulting Group handles US client acquisition, onboarding coordination, and content. The South African team handles candidate sourcing, vetting, interviews, payroll, and Employer of Record compliance.

What we do

We place full-time, dedicated South African professionals with US clients on a monthly retainer model. There are no recruitment fees. Clients pay a one-month deposit to confirm a hire and a monthly retainer that begins when the placement starts. If a placement is not the right fit within the first 30 days, we replace the hire at no extra cost.

Most placements price between $1,200 and $2,800 per month for VA, EA, sales, customer support, and operations roles. Senior engineering and specialist roles price higher.

Pricing and competitive landscapes change frequently. Each article carries a "Last reviewed" date. When a competitor publishes new pricing or a market shifts, we update the affected guides and refresh the date. We use directional language for retention and market comparisons unless we can cite a specific source.

Editorial standards

  • We name competitors by name where the comparison is fair and useful.
