1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and beacons.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function. They include security tokens set by Cloudflare to protect against malicious activity, and basic preference cookies. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies because the site would not function without them.
Analytics cookies
We may use anonymous analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site (which pages are visited, how long users stay, where traffic comes from). These cookies do not personally identify you. We do not currently run third-party analytics like Google Analytics, but we may add them in the future. When we do, this policy will be updated.
Marketing cookies
We have included a Meta Pixel placeholder in our site code that is currently disabled (commented out). When activated, it would set cookies that allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Marketing cookies will only be set when you have consented (where required by applicable law).
3. Third-party cookies
The following third parties may set cookies on our site:
- Cloudflare: security and performance (strictly necessary)
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com): font loading; Google may collect IP addresses for font requests
- Calendly / Google Calendar: when you book a call, the calendar provider sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy
- Meta (Facebook): currently inactive; will be activated only when ads are running and after appropriate consent
4. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close the browser
You can also use industry-wide opt-out tools like NAI or DAA to opt out of advertising cookies from participating networks.
Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the site (for example, you may not be able to submit forms reliably).
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Where technically feasible and consistent with applicable law, we honor this signal by not loading optional analytics or marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies will still load.
6. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
